Austria Selects Nathan Trent!

This year, Austria opted for an internal selection to choose who would represent the nation at Eurovision in Kyiv next year. Austrian broadcaster ORF has joined together with music experts Eberhard Forcher and Christof Straub to look into the young Austrian music scene to find someone suitable for the contest, and they have decided on Nathan Trent!

Nathan is a singer and songwriter who sings in the genres of pop and R’n’B. He was born in Innsbruck in 1992, and is bilingual in Italian and German. At the age of 3, he was sent to violin and piano lessons, and his father plays violin professionally in the orchestra of the National Theatre of Innsbruck. As a child, Nathan was a part of musicals and plays which gave him experience in the music and peforming arts world.

The Austrian participant has had a four year singing, acting and dancing education in the styles of Jazz, Contemporary and Commercial, and receives vocal lessons from Previn Moore. As a songwriter, he began writing songs when he was of the young age of 11. With years of experience, he is now able to express himself through his music.

The song that he is due to sing at Eurovision will be released in February next year.
